How to authenticate your Hytale server

If your Hytale server is not starting or shows authentication-related messages, it usually means the server is not authenticated yet. Authentication is required before the server can run properly.

This guide applies to servers on HytaleHosting.net.

Step 1: Open the Server Panel

1. Log in to your control panel
2. Select your Hytale server

Step 2: Automatically Authenticate the Server

1. Start the server.
2. A popup will appear mentioning your server required authentication.
3. Follow the on-screen steps to complete authentication
4. Enjoy!

Once completed, the console will show a confirmation that the server is authenticated.

Step 2: Manually Authenticate the Server

1. Start the server.
2. Type the command /auth login device
3. A link will be shown in the console, click the link to authenticate
4. Follow the steps on the Hytale site
5. Once completed you should see a message that your server is authenticated
6. Type the command /auth persistence Encrypted this will keep your server authenticated
7. Enjoy!

If Authentication Fails

• Make sure you are running the latest Hytale version via the Version Installer
• Restart the server after authenticating
